For Dr. Jacob Boeckmann, the biggest motivation in his career has been knowing his work impacts the lives of his patients. He considers plastic surgery as an intersection between art and science, a creative and scientific venture that allows people to transform their selves due to various reasons. Becoming a plastic surgeon was his way of being able to help others and explore his creative side. Plastic and reconstructive surgery can help people in so many ways just beyond the visual impact. It influences the way people feel about themselves, their identity, their self-esteem and confidence. Attributing his success to his hard work, Dr. Boeckmann recently opened his own practice, the Pacific Coast Facial Plastic Surgery in 2019. He garnered earlier experience in his career as a facial plastic surgeon for Facial Aesthetic Concepts, where he provided his skills and expertise from 2014 to 2019.
Dr. Boeckmann prepared for his at the University of Arkansas, where he earned an MD in 2008 with honors. He received additional otolaryngology-head and neck surgery training from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. His rise in the natural aesthetic surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation fields has been honored on a number of occasions. In his career, he has received such accolades as the Jack R. Anderson Award for Scholastic Excellence from the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2014 and selection to the Southern California Super Doctor Rising Star list from 2016 to 2018. The Super Doctors selects it’s rising stars through a rigorous multi-step process which is designed to highlight health care providers operating on the highest levels of service, care, peer recognition and professional achievement. No more than 2.5% of medical professionals are named to the Rising Stars list within their state or region. Dr. Boeckmann is double-board certified as a facial plastic surgeon and maintains membership with the American Board of Facial Plastic Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, the California Society of Facial Plastic Surgeons and Alpha Omega Alpha. He also serves on the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery’s Examination Development Committee.
